Description
The premise of Joke Lab is that every week 6-8 comedians are given a topic to create brand new material on or inspired by the topic for the week. The material can take any format as long as it is related to the topic in a way that will be apparent to the audience- can be sketch, a character or concept piece, storytelling, or stand-up. At the end of the show we take an audience suggestion for the next week’s topic and send it out to the comics booked on that show. So every week it’s a brand new show with new comics and new, never seen before material. This week’s topic: Mothers and Headaches!

DOORS OPEN at 8:30. Come early for drinks and music. The show starts PROMPTLY at 9:00.

Joke Lab is a FREE show. Beverages are available for purchase (CASH ONLY). Please support the space and buy a drink at the Labcabin bar!!!

Hosted by Amanda Egge and Lauren Rochelle
With a special guest appearance by the Improv Dance Company!

And of course, we couldn’t do it without all the people that make this show possible every week:
-Our Joke Lab interns: Jessica Lovelace-Chandler, Jake Kroeger and Taylor Collins!
-Our music curator, Jed Lasser, who provides themed music every week!
-Our wonderful bartender and host, David Gueringer!
